Specific weeks, not a chorus of praise
These notes name the briefing that was commissioned and the constraint that mattered: a swapped cold open, a foyer after the interval, a restored scene that keepers loved and first-timers did not.
They insisted on sitting with the Wednesday episode rather than averaging the season. That was the only week our late-night slot actually emptied, and it was the week we had swapped the cold open for a recap bumper.

Extended note: the Wednesday bumper
A Tbilisi drama desk commissioned a Season Reach Briefing after a six-episode run. The public numbers looked even. The briefing spent most of its middle chapter on episode three, the week the desk had replaced a cold open with a recap bumper for late viewers. Return visits from the first two episodes did not carry into Thursday. The reading session used that chapter to decide whether the bumper would survive a second season, which was the actual question the commissioner had, even if the original brief had asked for a “whole-season picture.”
Extended note: teachers in the foyer
A Batumi premiere looked full on the guest list. The Festival and Premiere Read counted who remained after the interval. Industry guests had left; a cluster of local teachers had stayed and asked about classroom screenings the next afternoon. The programmer changed the Q&A invitation list before lunch. That is the kind of fact this work is for.
