Refunds
These rules apply to commissioned written briefings and reading sessions. They do not describe physical merchandise, software subscriptions, or ticketed public courses, because we do not sell those here.
Eligibility
A refund may apply when we have accepted a fee and then cannot deliver the briefing for reasons on our side, or when you cancel in writing before intake week begins. Once catalogue work has started, refunds are partial or unavailable as set out below.
Timeframe
Cancel in writing to contact@host-managercore.digital at least five working days before the agreed intake Monday for a full refund of fees received, minus any non-refundable deposit already stated in the estimate. Requests made after that point follow the partial rules.
Full refund
Full refund of fees received if we cancel the engagement, if we cannot staff a reading session within thirty days of the written briefing without a reason you caused, or if you cancel before intake week as above and no catalogue work has begun.
Partial refund
If you cancel during week one after sending an intake pack, we retain forty percent of the briefing fee for catalogue time already spent and refund the remainder. If you cancel during week two, we retain seventy percent. After the written briefing is delivered, fees for that briefing are not refundable. Unused extra reading hours that were prepaid are refunded in full if cancelled twenty-four hours before the session.
Non-refundable items
The deposit named in the estimate (typically twenty percent) is non-refundable once intake week has started, because catalogue work occupies the desk. Travel booked at your request for a hall outside Tbilisi or Batumi is non-refundable once tickets are purchased, unless the carrier refunds us.
Work already started
Watching, reading, and annotation are the work. If episode files arrive incomplete and we have already spent scheduled days on the files that did arrive, those days are billed and not refunded. We will pause the clock and wait for the rest of the pack rather than invent missing scenes.
Purchased materials
If you asked us to buy a box set, festival pass, or print run to complete the object, those receipts are passed through at cost and are not refundable once purchased, unless the seller refunds us.
Deposits
Deposits reserve the three-week window. They are credited against the final fee. They are refundable only if we refuse the engagement after seeing the pack or if we cancel.
Rescheduling
You may move a reading session once without fee if you give forty-eight hours’ notice. Later changes are billed as an extra hour at the published session rate. We may reschedule for public holidays in Georgia or for illness; that is not a breach.
No-shows
If nobody from the commissioning desk attends the reading session and no notice was given, the session is treated as delivered. A replacement session is a new hour at the published rate.
Cancellation of a weekly retainer
Weekly Engagement Notes may be stopped after any Monday packet. Unused remaining Mondays in a four-week retainer are refunded minus the packets already written. A packet in progress on the day you write is counted as written.
Process, method, and timing
Write to contact@host-managercore.digital with the engagement date and the reason. We confirm the amount in writing. Refunds go back by the same method as the original payment where the bank allows it. Processing typically takes ten working days after we confirm the amount. We do not refund in cryptocurrency and we do not hold client funds as a custodian.
Exceptions
If a force majeure event in Georgia prevents a hall visit for a Festival and Premiere Read, we convert the visit to a reconstructed week from materials you supply, or we refund the travel portion. We do not refund because you disliked a finding in the briefing.
